A Rockford, Illinois native, A.J. Alexander is a proud graduate of Northern Illinois University College of Law.

 

She is licensed to practice law in Illinois (since 2020) and Arizona (since 2024).

​

Before founding The Law Office of A.J. Alexander, she served as a prosecutor in both Winnebago County and Cook County, gaining extensive courtroom experience in criminal and juvenile matters, including jury and bench trials ranging from Class X felonies to termination of parental rights cases.

While she is a general practice attorney, Ms. Alexander focuses her practice on criminal defense, juvenile abuse and neglect cases, and landlord–tenant disputes.

Ms. Alexander has a deep passion for justice and a steadfast commitment to fairness—no matter which side of the courtroom she stands on. She is a firm believer in the principle of “innocent until proven guilty” and works tirelessly to ensure that every client’s rights are respected and their voice is heard.
